Patterned tights have been hugely popular for a long while. There are harajuku fashion snaps featuring all sorts of different patterned tights, from sheer to colourful, and from hand-made to digitally printed.
I think they are also often called 'tattoo tights', probably because the designs on sheer tights makes them look like tattoos, but the images themselves are sometimes inspired by tattoo designs.

For this tutorial, I decided to make my own patterned tights by with a simple design, rather than going for an all-over pattern.
Decorated with images that reflect your taste, these tights would be a great way to personalize a simple dress co-ordinate

(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ~ Tip!『✧~ A vertical, narrow strip of pattern at the front of your legs will help make them legs appear longer instead of widening it, as all-over patterns often can~✧』

✿Fabric markers can be purchased at any art supply stores.

✿ You can use a pencil to lightly draw the design and then trace it with the marker.

✿I melted my tights while heat-setting it, so really be careful!
✿If you don't heat-set the tights the marker will smudge.

✿voila! Super easy.
